Recipe : The Baba KTCHN waffle


  • Syrup topping: 250cl water, 125g sugar, 5cl rum (optional) and 1 vanilla pod to bring to the boil in a saucepan.
  • Praline paste or peanut butter
  • Chocolate ganache or melted chocolate
  • Cherry Jam
  • Mango Coulis
  • Whipped cream with orange zest
  • Garnish: citrus zest, fresh herbs, peanuts, candied cherries, marshmallows, etc.
  • Cuberdon


  • Dry the waffle in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes; it should be crispy. Then soak it generously in the cooled topping syrup.
  • Fill each cell with the toppings* of your choice, be creative and feel free to replace our suggestions with whatever you like! If you don’t have a piping bag, a freezer bag cut out in one corner will work perfectly.
  • Decorate each alveolus with citrus zest, fresh herbs, peanuts, candied cherries, marshmallows or whatever else you have to hand.
  • Heat the cuberdon for 5 seconds in the microwave, cut off the tip and pour the contents onto the waffle.
